|10-152-151 IT:PROGRAM:SQL-ADVANCED ...write advanced SQL statements, design robust databases and write Extract, Transfer, Load (ETL) processes. Additional topics include database transformations, alternate database technologies, emerging database trends and database administration/security. (Prerequisite: 10-152-184, IT:Web:Programming-SQL)|
Prior Learning Assessments
Translate complex information needs into accurate SQL statements to generate results that meet business requirements.
Construct multiple-table queries and subqueries to meet complex data needs.
Distinguish appropriate uses for custom user-defined functions.
Determine appropriate uses for advanced triggers and stored procedures and create those triggers and stored procedures.
Create database table indexes with emphasis on usage and table/query performance.
Utilize the SQL Server Query Optimizer to optimize queries.
Differentiate appropriate uses for alternative database management systems (DBMS).
Improve database robustness and usability to accommodate complex business needs.
Produce a lossless database environment through the use of Data Backups, Snapshots, and Transaction Log Files
Analyze and Modify database performance.
